Maybe the bug is related to the time-zone change which took place here in
Germany last night. The laptop was in hibernation during this and after the
resume gnome-applet got confused with the new time-zone. Now, after a second
hibernate/resume cycle gnome-applet did *not* crash (but the network-manager
daemon had to be restarted to get it work, the nm-gnome-applet showed a small
exclamation mark noticing that network was unavailable).
In summary, all this hibernation thing is very confusing and it seems hard to
debug (too many things are involved). Does anyone have some hints for me how I
can get more diagnostic messages during resume?
