I don't understand why this bug was marked invalid??? I am facing the exact same issues. How do I change the system time if the clock applet closes? How do I set up NTP servers?
After the upgrade to Hardy beta, the system time changed. Its another issue why that happened but I can't even set it right because the clock applet keeps closing on me whenever I click "set system time...".
