Public bug reported: Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed
Description: In breezy I had configured metacity to let me drag windows by holding <Mod4> (aka Super aka the Windows logo key). In dapper the option disappeared from the gnome-window-properties dialog. Instead I see only two radio buttons (Ctrl and Alt), and *both are selected*. If I select either of them, I can no longer go back to the Penguin key. I would like to have the <Mod4> option back in the dialog. If that is not possible (the mythical GNOME gods requiring a sacrifice of a certain number of user interface features for a successful release), I'll be content with setting /apps/metacity/general/mouse_button_modifier to <Mod4> with gconf- editor, but I think it would make more sense to show neither Ctrl nor Alt as selected, instead of showing both. (Why do I want <Mod4>? Ctrl+click and Alt+click both have meaningful actions in Firefox and some other applications.) -- Dapper: Window properties no longer has an option for <Super> https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/38243 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
