I just retested it in my Hardy beta system. Dragging a file into Nautilus in list view is perfectly possible. The file is inserted among the other files just fine (even if the window is completely filled with files (scroll bars appear)). Perfran is right that in list view there is no right-click - paste option. Also selecting multiple files by 'lassoing' over them is impossible in list view (but thats the other bug). So you guys are right about not closing this bug entirely - not all issues are resolved...
