I have (had) the same problem when installing Gnome on Kubuntu. Apparently gnome-keyring-manager was pulled out of the hardy-dev- repository on 2008-02-09 (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/i386/gnome- keyring-manager/).
I worked around it by downloading the archived .deb from there and installing it with "dpkg -i". Then gnome installed without problems. After startup it had no window manager, but that was probably unrelated (missing compiz and/or theme, bug 194022). ** Also affects: gnome-keyring-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [hardy] gnome-desktop-environment is broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/190950 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-keyring-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
