I installed Ubuntu Hardy Heron beta a couple of days ago. The draw- spaces plugin is still unstable: opening the slatec file with the plugin enabled, causes gedit to freeze, and I eventually have to kill the application (since there is no response). I still haven't checked the issue with the Latin-1 encoding.
Also, funily, the plugin remains enabled after if I disable it through the preferences (and is finally disabled after I open/close gedit a couple of times).
