You have been subscribed to a public bug: When I choose "Quit" from the System menu or from a shortcut placed on the panel, the system mostly stops responding. A hidden panel will not hide, and the menus or shortcuts on both panels stop responding. (The system monitor appears to keep working though.)
Ctrl-Alt-Backspace usually doesn't work, but when it does, I restart X to get out of it. Otherwise I use Ctrl-Alt-F1 to log in using a tty screen and tell the system to reboot. ** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy] Selecting "Quit" causes Gnome to stop responding https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/203668 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
