Public bug reported: In the latest updated Hardy, the gnome-display-settings tool doesn't work. It shows my two screens ok, but settings to them don't take effect. My two screens are an internal LCD and an external VGA monitor.
I can set these how I need them using the xrandr cmdline tool, but the gui tool just doesn't make any changes. When i click apply, I can see the "Sending client message" message on stdout but nothing happens.
