I've seen 3 issues caused by a configuration set by kcontrol about prefered theme for GTK-applications: - memory leak in wnck-applet causing memory taken by Xorg to increase slowly and without any release - a refresh problem of icons buttons and menu entries in the openoffice.org-gnome integration (note this removing this package solves the problem) - ALT+F2 key combination don't work
Once I set "simple" instead of "QT" in prefered theme for GTK-applications, all these issues gone away.
