I too had Nautilus crash when using the trash applet. My system is current Hardy as of Feb 28 2008, with Nautilus 2.21.92. Judging by the timestamps I'm guessing the fix has already been released in them mainstream nautilus. Perhaps this is a regression? I will update my system again and report back if I encounter any more errors.
