Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
Version: Evince 2.20.1 using using poppler 0.6.2 (cairo). After inserting text into a form and clicking outside the field to change focus, the text is redrawn with extra "square with a cross in it" characters inserted between every character I typed. To reproduce: 1. Open a PDF file with editable fields 2. Insert a few lines of text 3. Click on another part of the PDF document > Notice that the contents of the field unexpectedly contains many "square with a cross in it" characters. I will try to add a screenshot and the PDF document I used to this bug report once I figure out how to.
