Comment: The screenshot I linked to shows the selector I was originally talking about when I filed the bug (accessed from the GDM login screen). The first commenter interpreted the big to be about a different window, which I then replied to in my first comment. >From the GDM login, choose "select language". A new window opens. Note the >colour of the selector menus before you click on them. Note the colour after >clicking and the selectable items have appeared (this is the state the >screenshot above was taken in).
