Hi there
I really couldn't reproduce this issue, i create a new LDAP address book with
random data, save the changes, edit an populate with the real data from my ldap
server, save the changes and works just fine.
could you please try to reproduce this issue with a new account, also provide
the version of the related packages you have installed and the version of
Ubuntu you're using.
