It would be good if we can do some benchmarking of the screensaver
hacks. Some hacks use a lot of CPU on some computers because the 3D
acceleration partially fails on specific graphic cards and falls back to
software rendering. This is in many cases a bug in the drivers and
should be identified and fixed.

Can you all please have a look at the tests on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Screensavers ? Test results, improvements and
comments are welcome, just add them to the wiki page.
