e-d-s seems to have run out of memory... was this an once-only thing, or
did it happen more than once? Does e-d-s memory allocation grows with
time?

and, most important, can you run valgrind against e-d-s? Please see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind on how to run valgrind; this would help
us very much...

meanwhile I will look ustream for a matching scenario.
