Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/36687

Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
When right-clicking on the gnome clock on the desktop, and selecting
"set date and time" I had the time configuration window.

I selected "Periodically synchronize clock with Internet Server", and it
told me I had to downlowd ntp support.

I did, and the packages were installed. Then I selected again
"Periodically synchronize clock with Internet Server", but again the
warning "Missing ntp support".

So I left the time configuration window and came back to the desktop.

When coming back to time configuration, I could select "Periodically
synchronize clock with Internet Server" and then it worked.
