Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/36647
Affects: gnome-vfs2 (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: When you have multiple workgroups and users are members of overlapping and different sets of workgroups, directorys are set chmod g+s in order to inherit permissions when creating a file further along the branch of the tree. Problem is, every application respects this except for nautilus/gnome-fs2 This basically makes Desktop Linux in a multiuser (say corporate) environment not a possiblity until this is fixed. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
