You have been subscribed to a public bug: I am using Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon.
It is not possible to drag-and-drop a file into a executable. This would be an useful feature. In Microsoft Windows, it is possible to drag-and-drop a file into an executable and make the executable run with the filename as an command line argument kinda. So if you drop photo.jpg into imageviewer.exe then imageviewer would startup showing photo.jpg by launching "imageviewer.exe photo.jpg" ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Drag-and-drop file into executable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/174125 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
