My system specs:
# Fujitsu Laptop
## model S5582
# PIII 800mhz with 256mb ram plus docking station
Running info:
# Connected via Lan cable.
# Only docking station is attached. No other peripherals.
# Ubuntu Server is installed.
Problem:
#It occurs after an upgrade from Fiesty to Gutsy via terminal and putty and
also reoccurs with a fresh install of Gutsy.
#Problem does not occur in Fiesty.
Symptoms
# Ubuntu is unable to complete a "sudo shutdown -r now" command.
## system hangs with a blank screen.
## Does not display any shutdown sequence.
