Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/36333
Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: I'm not sure whether this is simply a change to some strings or whether their needs to be different logic encoded, but if you check out the attached screenshot, you'll notice that it claims that it's "writing data to storage device Marple Set 2 Volume 2" . Not only is this technically impossible, but it might prompt some users to think that they've overwritten data on a DVD of theirs. I don't mind this wording for removing writable storage devices, but this dialog should either: 1) be hidden for non-writable storage devices like DVD's and CD's. 2) be worded differently, to indicate what is actually happening: "Please wait while we eject your media." -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
