I added steps. ** Description changed:
Binary package hint: deskbar-applet If you use Bottom panel only and using Deskbar, the Deskbar search does not stay locked to bottom panel. ie, If I open Deskbar from panel. It stays next to panel. I search for something it expands towards top of screen. If I close Deskbar, and reopen deskbar to search again, Deskbar window is at the top or middle of screen. Also, Deskbar has a titlebar. It shouldn't have one. + + Edit: + + Step 1. Put Deskbar Icon on bottom panel + Step 2. Open Deskbar. If deskbar window is at bottom panel. Do a search of anything. + Step 3. Close deskbar window at it's current position and size. + Step 4. Reopen Deskbar. It will appear where it was closed last. + + It should be sticky to the deskbar icon on panel. It is quite annoying + to constantly move the deskbar next to panel icon every single time I + search with it. + + Deskbar in Feisty was better then the one in Gutsy. No titlebar and it + was sticky. -- Deskbar does not work well with bottom panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159922 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for deskbar-applet in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
