thank you for your quick response. this is the solution to the problem:      
ctrl-alt-f1
[login as me]
sudo date --set 01/08/2007
sudo killall gdm
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm start

the problem originated from a dead PRAM battery(i think), well anyway the os is 
up and running now.
