The reason it worked for me on 7.04 is probably because I installed that one from scratch. Keyboard problems from the moment I upgraded to 7.10. Seems something goes wrong during the upgrade (at least for me...). If I start the vncserver locally on the server, next connect using realvnc from client, there's no problem!
