Waldo: What did you do exactly to fix this?
This is driving me insane; I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 with OO version that came with it. When enabling restricted drivers and attempting to open any of the OO apps nothing happens except the initial splash screen. If I disable the same drivers everything goes back to normal but Enemy Territory won't run. Also, PDF files with the default document viewer does not work with restricted drivers enabled. I've tried upgrading to the new ATI Radeon drivers with the same problem.
