1. I installed Ubuntu 7.10 2. I installed CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor Gnome applet and found out that my processor is working at 50% of its maximum frequency. 3. I learned how to switch my processor to maximum frequency and did it.
My proposition: the CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor should be installed by default so users will know at what frequency their processor works. I hope that I am clear enough. -- CPU frequency isn't shown in Gnome (Ubuntu 7.10) on systems with powersave enabled processors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/156564 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
