I wanted to access an anonymous ftp area on my house network. So I selected Places / Connect to server. In the resulting window I selected Service type: Public FTP. Then I thought "oh, a browse button, let me see what it does". What it does is bring up a copy of Places / Network. I don't think this is correct. It should bring up a subdirectory of Places / Network which corresponds to the root of the selected service type. If the service type is not browseable then the "Browse" button should be disabled. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: iso-testing -- connect to server / browse network does something unexpected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152006 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
