You have been subscribed to a public bug: When inserting an USB flash memory stick (Kingston datatraveler 2.0), I get an error popup message that says:
Cannot mount volume Invalid mount options when attemping to mount the volume 'KINGSTON'. The desired behaviour is that gutsy should automount the memory stick. As root, I am able to mount the disk manually: sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/whatever The USB memory worked fine in Feisty Fawn. This is from a fresh Gutsy beta install, running Gnome. ** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete -- cannot mount usb flash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151384 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-volume-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
