You have been subscribed to a public bug: Hi, (I'll include my konsolerc that I captured after the upgrade) My konsole was fine under breezy; I did a dist-upgrade and it seems to have picked a different font and this one has rendering issues; I think it us using 'marlett regular 11'; certainly if I reselect that font I get the same issue.
The rendering issue seems to be a truncation of some characters as they are typed - I wonder whether the metrics are wrong? In particular if I type the three character 'm v' when I type the 'v' the right most vertical line of the 'm' gets erased (see screen grab). Its possible this is resolution/anti-alias settings/X driver/etc dependent I guess. I'm running a Radeon 7200 with the standard Ubuntu X setup. (I'm running the konsole under a gnome session). I'll try and attach the screen shot and config file immediatly after hitting submit. ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Status: New -- 'marlett' Font rendering issues https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/39549 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
