Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sound-juicer
I put an audio CD in the drive, start sound-juicer, but it can not even see the CD. The GNOME cd player sees and plays the CD just fine. Rhythmbox, banshee show the same behaviour, none see that there is an audio CD in the drive. Also nautilus does not see the audio CD. Starting from the commandline shows following errors: ** (sound-juicer:8116): WARNING **: Could not lock drive: Extracting audio from CD ** (sound-juicer:8116): WARNING **: Error getting media type I tried with strace, but I don't see anything useful there (can attach the log if needed). ** Affects: sound-juicer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [gutsy] sound-juicer can not see audio CD in drive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137830 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for sound-juicer in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
