Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35411
Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: I have three mounted smb-shares, which are not writable for my current user (don't ask me why >:) They are all existent in /media, so nautilus recognizes them as disks in the tree. Now, when I display the tree the icons of the disks are of the standard "disk" type. However, when I click on them it turns to a yellow lock. I think it is very strange to have a yellow lock on the disk icon and having to be reminded all the time that the disk is read-only. Steps to reproduce: 1. Mount a smb disk in /media as read-only 2. Open nautilus and click on the disk 3. Watch your screen What should happen: 1. Mount a smb disk in /media as read-only 2. Open nautilus and click on the disk 3. See the nice disk icon as existent in Breezy A screenshot is available on http://broach.se/nautilus.png -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
