I haven't tried it in Gutsy. I noticed one important thing. The popup window appears also when I delete one of default profiles (eg. mp3 profiles, Flac, etc.) every time I open sound juicer, no matter if I choose Exit or Change profile (as you wrote). The only way I found to fix it is to recreate the same identical default profile (same description, same name etc..)...
