I can confirm this bug. Happens with all GTK apps (Gedit, OpenOffice,
Scite, etc).
I resize the "Save As" dialog to see better. But when I re-visit the
dialog again later, it does not remember the 'resized' size. It goes
back to showing up in the small size as before.
I can also confirm that this occurs only when compiz is enabled. With
compiz disabled, the dialog remembers its new size next time it opens.
I see that there is no activity on this bug since May 2007. Although it
is more of an annoyance than a bug, please address this since users
visit the 'Save As' dialog often.
