Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gthumb
When Moving a file, it defaults to 'do not overwrite...', but if the filename already exist in the target folder, the source file will be deleted. So, it is not overwriting the file, but it does deletes the file you would like to move, without any remark. The best solution is to leave the files untouched and show a pop up that some files were not moved because in the target folder already exist files with the same name. Linux: Ubuntu 7.04 (updated) gThumb: 2.10.2 ** Affects: gthumb (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- images to be moved get deleted if the filename exist in the target folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123444 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gthumb in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
