Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/33900
Comment: It seems that upstream PPDs at linuxprinting.org for Ricoh (Gestetner, Infotec, Lanier, Ricoh, NRG and Savin) are now provided by Ricoh itself probably using their own PPD generator instead of the foomatic one used in Breezy. Foomatic 3.0 uses a "<Model name> Foomatic/<driver>" indication inside *NickName of PPDs. Gnome-cups-manager makes use of this indication to group different drivers for the same printer model together. This indication is not used in the upstream PPDs provided by Ricoh so gnome-cups-manager sees 2 different printer models. This bug should probably be handled upstream at linuxprinting.org, could you therefore please post your problem in the ricoh forum at www.linuxprinting.org -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
