Comment: I tried it out with a newly-created calendar entry and it seemed to act OK (except when I deleted it, I had to redraw the screen before it disappeared). I'm not sure why it did not like the Palm-synced events. Sorry I have not tested it further. When I had trouble with dropped events, I switched to korganizer (blaphemy!). Korganizer does not have a "move to calendar" function, but since it was just a one-time import from the Palm, I found I could manually move the iCalendar files. I am running gnome on Ubuntu Breezy Badger (5.10).
