Comment: I think that Serpentine's spatial functionality is great. However, there is currently no way for Serpentine to remember more than one playlist and that is why I brought up making the save dialogue easier to use by having a default playlist format automatically selected. If there were a way that Serpentine could automatically manage more than one project in spatial mode, it would simplify the program as users would not have to manually select a file format, location and filename to store their projects when they need to work with more than one playlist at a time (e.g. working with a two disc album). Names could be automatically generated for the playlists (Project 1, Project 2, etc.) while still allowing the user to pick custom names. The file format could be automatically selected (as it is now for spatial mode) and the playlists could be stored in ~/.serpentine. Finally, the terms "export" and "import" could replace the words "save" and "open" for the items that are currently in Serpentine's File menu to better reflect their functionality. I'm not sure how the interface could best implement this new functionality. Perhaps a dropdown list or a sidebar could contain the automatically saved playlists so that the user could easily click between them. There would also need to be buttons and/or menu items to start a new project and delete the current project. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
