Comment: Thank you for working on that. So first install the gnome-applets-dbg package. Then from the command line do that: - gdb /usr/lib/gnome-applets/gweather-applet-2 (gdb) run [add the panel] ... you should get the crash message on the command line (gdb) thread apply all bt And copy that to a command.
