Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/28939
Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: Hello, With flight3 comes a new config of the gnome panel. As this is a good idea to remove the "help" button which is easily available with "System > help", I think this is a bad idea to add the "logout" button which easily available with "System > Logout" or event with power button (on iMac G3, iBook G4 and somes PC keyboards). Laptop users usualy just close the screen, so this is not a feature use by everyone. Another problem : if the user click by mistake to this applet instead of date-applet, he'll be surprise to see the logout dialog. And last but not least, it is really ugly. I talk with some friend and this seems not to be a attended feature or even a "not so good" idea. A good replacement will be the "fast-user-switch-applet" with an option at the end of the menu to logout.
