D,

Any chance you're running a private IP range and that the internal DNS server doesn't have an MX entry for your domain?

Hello...

I'm having trouble with the MAILFROM test. From the docs: "This test checks the SMTP envelope "Mail From:" address (which should be the sender of the E-mail) and makes sure that the donain name it is coming from is valid."

I read that as: if a message comes from [EMAIL PROTECTED], then my declude checks if mydomain.com exists and if so the message passes the test.

But that's not what I'm seeing. Users sending messages from outside my WAN will fail the MAILFROM test whether they have mydomain.com as their SMTP server or not. I'd understand if the test checks if the Mail From address matches the SMTP server but even that's not case.

For a test that has a default weight of 12 I must be missing something obvious.

Any suggestions? IMail 2006.04 Declude 4.1

Thx,
D.
