I have just learned that the next release of Declude should fix this by
digging into the XML files. That would be a huge improvement!
SM changed the paths and formats of some of the config files, so Declude
couldn't find them.
I noticed a change in the XML comfigurations when I was writing an export
routine to take the SM XML files and convert them for IMail to act as a mail
cache. Apparently, Declude also found the same issue.

So you are basically saying that Declude is completely unaware of all
domain aliases as configured in SmarterMail?
