For those using Sandy's 5xx event sink including Sandy how is it working out
for you? Are any of you using it with 10K+ email addresses? How is the
performance of it with a scan of the list for each mail? How do you update
the file once you have it in place - i.e. just ftp a new copy over the
existing. Has this caused any issues with mail rejection when its being
updated (for example what if the event sink can't access the file while it
was being updated).
Just your general thoughts? Right now I am using a homebrew extract the
email addresses out of AD through a Windows Service that FTP's it up to a
central point where another Windows Service goes and grabs it and imports it
into imail as aliases. This works and is fine - but I hate the whole
routing it out to a subdomain thing. It works, but feels clunky.
Thoughts?
Darrell
