Only the arrogant fools at NetIQ could screw up something like Webtrends which was once the best stats tool available.

And unless they have changed something recently (which would come as no surprise) they used to transfer licenses no problem. We acquired a company a couple of years ago that owned several copies and they faxed forms to us to transfer the licenses to our company.

FTR  and  way OT, just got finished with my second extended flame mail
to  NetIQ  (WebTrends'  former  parent)  inside  sales,  based on some
ridiculously  condescending  and  secretive  pricing  discussions  re:
AppManager. I'd love to see them go down. Of course, it's too late for
WebTrends  to  go  down  with  them,  as  they've shuttled WT off to a
holding company of some sort.
