Here's their SOA query results:
nameserver = NS85.WORLDNIC.com. mailaddress = namehost.WORLDNIC.com. serial = 2004013002, refresh = 10800, retry = 3600, expire = 604800, minimum = 7200.
I'm thinking that what this says is that it will take up to 7 days for the records to expire.
Actually, the information in the SOA record won't apply -- what matters is the TTL of the record that was looked up *before* the change was made. Unfortunately, once a change is made, it's usually impossible to find out the old TTL value. Even if you do record the old TTL value before making a change, there is always a slight chance that there was a previous change with an even longer TTL that would be used.
