Contributing would be an action. Declude is only testing.

First, clarification now that I read the site and understand what you are
asking. Declude makes the query to what ever DNS server it is configured
for, generally the first DNS server listed in the SMTP service of Imail.
Therefore, since most if not all DNS servers do caching, it is using a
caching server.

However, if I read the site correctly, if you configured a DNS service in
cache mode only on the Imail server, and followed the other requirements,
and had Imail/Declude use that for the DNS looks, then that should work.
