Scott, I sorry to be spamming the list with these logging messages today, however, I am quite frankly astounded at how much data is not being logged at LOGLEVEL MID. I don't think there should ever be a situation where there is no log entry for a message at all.
There should never be a case where there are no log file entries for an E-mail, unless it is by design (using the LOG_OK NONE option, which disables reporting of "OK" messages, or if Declude Virus quarantines an E-mail).
I can even parse the log for the queue ID from the message headers (e.g., X-Queue-File: Dd7a4018e00a48c59.SMD) and still find no reference to the message in the logs.
Are you sure you are scanning for the right string -- with IMail and Declude log files, you must search for the spool file name minus the first character and extension -- so in this case, you would need to search for "d7a4018e00a48c59".
To have the Declude headers not show up in some messages is somewhat disturbing (reported to the list last week), but to have Declude process a message and then have no record of it in the logs of ever being touch by Declude is downright untenable, and I feel, totally unacceptable.
Yes, bugs are totally unacceptable.
I think this is a matter that requires immediate attention. I sincerely hope that you see it that way, as well.
It does, but it will require more details. What are the full headers of an E-mail that is not logged? Do you have any settings that would cause Declude JunkMail not to log (such as "LOG_OK NONE" or "LOGLEVEL WARNING")? Do the IMail log files show the E-mail being delivered? If you are running Declude Virus, did it scan the E-mail?
