Il y a quelque temps, David Baudens m'avait dit que si je voulais installer la
glibc-2.2 sur ma Mandrake 7.2, je devais la compiler moi-même...
Donc me voilà, j'ai téléchargé les sources (10 MO, gloup... ;-).
Quand je lance "./configure", j'obtiens ce message :
*** You should not compile the GNU libc without the `linuxthreads'
*** add-on. Not using them risks being incompatible with the
*** libraries of other systems. Consider getting the add-on and restarting
*** the configuration.
*** If you really mean to not use this add-on, run configure again
*** using the extra parameter `--disable-sanity-checks'.
J'ai lu un passage dans la FAQ à propos de ce "ADD-ON", mais j'avoue ne pas
bien avoir compris à quoi ça servait, et donc si ça m'était indispensable ou si
je pouvais m'en passer...
Quelqu'un peut-il m'expliquer ?
