reassign 571741 linux-source-2.6.32 stop Hi!
As far as I can tell it seems that the kernel upstream patch I was reporting about resolves this bug. I have tested the patch on our 2.6.32 for several days without any problem. I'm reasigning the bug to the kernel package as the problem is within the kernel, it is not 2.6.32 specific, as our 2.6.34 also exhibits this problem, don't know when the git patch will be mixed to mainline though, maybe it has been already applied to the 2.6.35 preseries. Only one problem remains here, it seems that at least on my machine kms on intel is incompatible with splashy on boot (you end up with a black screen instead of your X. However having splashy showing the splash on hibernation or restoring seems to work ok, and splashy isn't usefull with our new startup system anyway (no progress bar). If you happen to have any questions just ask them. Regards... -- Manty/BestiaTester -> http://manty.net -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-x-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
