Unstable and testing seem to be using the same xorg intel driver so I've tested the testing one.
No, still locks hard after a few minutes use. Nothing in the logs, can still remote ssh on. Remote restarting gdm has no effect on the screen neither do the hot keys to switch to the text terminal.
