No. With radeon.modeset=1, my system crashes immediately on boot (see kernel bugzilla #15736), therefore I cannot try with KMS enabled. Additionally, current KDE doesn't allow desktop effects to be enabled with current X, falls back to "Compositing disabled" immediately without giving meaningful log entries.
