Let's focus on the lockup with UXA, which is the only method supported in the driver in unstable. Could you attach the output of intel_gpu_dump from intel-gpu-tools, at the point where your desktop is hung? Also, having your Mesa and kernel updated from unstable will help make sure it's not an already-fixed bug.
